PMS is quite normal among young women. The symptoms can be traced as follows:
1. Moodiness

3. Insomania
4. Upset stomach

Tips to alleviate PMS symptoms as by US Department of Health & Human Services:
1. Take a daily vitamin with folic acid and a calcium supplement with vitamin D
2. Go for plenty of exercise
3. Stick to a healthy diet with lots of whole grains, fruits and vegetables, before and after during periods.
4. Avoid salt, sugar, caffeine, alcohol and smoking
5. 8 hours of sleep is a must.
